GENCI is the French HPC-AI-QC agency, mandated by the French government to collaborate with CEA, CNRS and the French Universities to equip their three national supercomputing centers with HPC, AI and Quantum capabilities. As the computing technological landscape evolves, GENCI is involved in increasingly impactful projects, both at the national and European levels, such as the Alice Recoque exascale project, AI Factory France or EuroQHPC-Integration.

GENCI - AI2FK32GENCI (Grand Equipement National de Calcul Intensif) is a very large IR*-class research infrastructure. It is a public operator created in 2007 to democratize the use of digital simulation through high-performance computing, associated today with the use of artificial intelligence and soon with prototype quantum computing devices. GENCI supports French scientific and industrial competitiveness through its three missions: Implement the national strategy of equipping France with highperformance computing, storage and massive data processing resources associated with AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies and future quantum computing technologies for the benefit of French and European open scientific research, relying on the three national computing centers Support the creation of an integrated ecosystem for HPC, AI and quantum computing on a national and European scale Promote digital simulation through HPC for academic and industrial open research teams. GENCI is a civil company 49% owned by the French State represented by the Ministry of Higher Education and Research, 20% by the CEA, 20% by the CNRS, 10% by France Universités and 1% by Inria.
