This event will connect attendees with HPC experts in an informal setting.
After three years spent collaborating on the Atos Quantum initiative, Sabine became Business Developer at Quandela, before joining GENCI (Grand Equipement National de Calcul Intensif) as Chief Quantum Projects Officer. In this role, she is more specifically involved in the HQI (France Hybrid HPC Quantum Initiative), HPCQS (High-Performance Computer and Quantum Simulator hybrid) and EuroQCS-France initiatives to drive the acquisition and provision of quantum systems, and contribute to dissemination and support to user communities.
Sabine is a member of the invited program committee for ISC 2026 and is responsible for organizing the invited talk sessions in Quantum Computing.
Estela Suarez is Joint Lead of the department Novel System Architecture Design at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, and Associate Professor for High Performance Computing at the University of Bonn. Her expertise is in HPC system architecture and codesign. As leader of the DEEP project series, she has driven the development of the Modular Supercomputing Architecture, including the implementation and validation of hardware, software and applications. In addition, she leads the energy efficiency project SEANERGYS and has led the codesign efforts within the European Processor Initiative in 2018-2024. From 2024 to 2025 she has been Senior Principal Solution Architect at SiPEARL, during a sabbatical.
Estela is a member of the invited program committee for ISC 2026 and is responsible for organizing the invited talk sessions in System Architecture & Hardware Components.
