The poster "Engaging Audiences with HPC Through Innovative Teaching" presents an overview of teaching methods used in the project Superheroes 4 Science to make High-Performance Computing (HPC) more accessible and engaging for diverse audiences, including primary school pupils, high school students, and science enthusiasts. The project aims to bridge the gap between advanced technologies such as HPC, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) and the general public while fostering interest in STEM fields among younger generations.

Teaching methods were researched and identified to target groups with specific needs and characteristics. Outreach activities and materials were tailored to maximise their impact. For primary school students, the focus is on sparking curiosity through storytelling and visual engagement. High school students are introduced to more complex concepts through interactive applications to inspire potential career paths, while science enthusiasts are offered simplified but in-depth showcases of cutting-edge technologies to help them better understand them.

The project's educational methodology is built on several proven pedagogical approaches:

1) Storytelling: Storytelling is a powerful educational method, combining visual and textual elements to create memorable learning experiences. The comic stories and video animation created in the project inspire, engage emotions, stimulate imagination, and mediate difficult and complex information.

2) Gamification: Educational games provide an immersive environment where learners can explore HPC and QC concepts through experiential learning. This approach increases engagement and motivation and stimulates teamwork and healthy competitiveness.

3) Interactive Workshops: Workshops combine theoretical knowledge with practical exercises, fostering critical thinking and allowing immediate application of learned concepts in a supportive setting. These hands-on sessions provide structured learning environments where participants actively engage with AI and QC concepts.

4) Showcase Methodology: Showcases demonstrate real-world applications and impacts of HPC through concrete examples and case studies. By highlighting the real projects and their outcomes, participants can better understand the practical significance of supercomputing in solving contemporary challenges across various fields.

Combining these educational methods and tools raises awareness of HPC and its potential, inspires students to consider STEM careers, and contributes to understanding how supercomputing technologies impact our world. The innovative approach ensures that HPC is understood and valued as an important tool for addressing global challenges.
Through targeted interactive activities, fun games, and creative outreach, Superheroes 4 Science supports the next generation of STEM innovators and introduces the public to the transformative power of HPC.
