The product PoINT Archival Gateway is an object storage software for tape. It enables the homogeneous integration of tape storage systems (tape libraries) into the storage infrastructure via the standardized S3 interface. In cooperation with our technology partner BDT, the leading tape library manufacturer, we are able to offer a complete solution that meets all requirements regarding data center standards. The solution is scalable in terms of capacity and performance and also supports geo-distribution (operation in multiple locations, e.g. for redundancy purposes).
