Access to the Resources of the High-Performance Computing Infrastructure of Japan Including the World’s Fastest Class Supercomputer Fugaku

HPCI, the innovative High-Performance Computing Infrastructure, is a shared use framework of world top class supercomputing resources in Japan that connects major supercomputers and large-scale storages of universities and research institutions via high-speed networks.

HPCI computing resources consist of two systems: the world’s fastest class supercomputer Fugaku as the national flagship system, and the national infrastructure systems from major universities and research organizations. HPCI has realized an innovative computational environment that accommodates the diverse needs of the users.

HPCI’s calls are open to the worldwide HPC communities not only for academia but also for industry. Various project types are set to meet users' needs. Also, efficient support services are provided to make the most of the HPCI system performance for smooth usage.
In this presentation, I will explain the outline of HPCI, timelines of the open calls, and user support services.
