Information
Following the success and popularity the Fishbowl Panel at ISC23 and ISC24, the fast-paced, interactive format returns to ISC25. Under the title, “Big Questions for the Future of HPC-AI,” the panel will explore the major market shifts that are simultaneously empowering and disrupting the industry.
This forward-looking panel is designed to elicit opinions from a wide range of industry thought leaders. Moderator Addison Snell begins with three panelists. Every seven minutes, one of the three panelists will be dismissed, replaced by a willing member of the audience. Respectful disagreement and diversity of opinions is encouraged. Welcome to the Fishbowl.
Projected topics include: The role of AI in empowering and disrupting HPC applications; the future of 64-bit computing; the sustainability of power and cooling for large-scale computing; the dominance of hyperscale and the future of on-premises versus cloud computing; sovereignty and locality of data at scale; the ethics of AI; developing the next generation of talent; and collaborating in the face of the continued rise of HPC-AI nationalism.
