QStar will be demonstrating our Archive Manager and Global ArchiveSpace software solutions (Booths L20 and A31) that provide simple archive connectivity to tape libraries and other archive technologies using SMB, NFS or S3 interfaces. Single or Multi-node options are available to support any size of tape library, using any version of tape drive. Our solutions are designed around a permanent software license and annual support contracts to match the long-term nature of archived data. Our software is installed on standard Windows or Linux servers - so users are not forced to buy appliances that have relatively short functional lives. With QStar - users can choose when to upgrade their operating system and / or server hardware.
