Information

IQM Radiance is IQM's most advanced superconducting quantum computer. Based on a scalable architecture, it offers unparalleled performance with best-in-class qubits and components for future growing needs. IQM Radiance offers high performance computing (HPC) centres, data centres, leading enterprises, and governments an early opportunity to master quantum system operations, integrate systems into existing environments and explore algorithm behaviour. IQM Radiance is designed from the ground up as a modular system. It is delivered with 54 qubits and can later be upgraded to 150 qubits. Evaluating the hardware performance of quantum computers depends on several features that must be well balanced to maximise the benefits for applications and algorithms. Superconducting technology performs well in all dimensions. With 54 high-fidelity data qubits, significant advances in the execution of quantum algorithms in the fields of optimization, simulation and machine quantum learning for various application areas such as life sciences, chemistry or industry are foreseen. In the 150-qubit version, end users will be able to discover new scientific insights or advantages for specific applications for which quantum utility can be realised, as this far exceeds the number of qubits that can be simulated on classical hardware.
